Kittens

Kittens, Kittens, Kittens!

Who doesn't LOVE kittens? That's probably why you're here! Rick, my husband, and I (Sabrina) work so hard to provide the BEST possible kitten(s) for you that we can.  Good food, clean environment, the best European parents we could find, and all of our Breeding Cats have been DNA tested and are negative for all 50 traits! Our breeding cats' DNA results can be provided upon request when considering a kitten. Lastly, the most important thing of all.....we shower our kittens with lots of love. Below are current litters and some past litters so you can have an idea of all the possibilities of colors we have. We can have all colors and don't claim to specialize in any ONE color.  We focus on quality kittens of all colors!

Why Choose Salty Coons Maine Coon Kittens?

Our kittens are raised as part of our family from the minute they are born.  They live in our home and are monitored very closely including daily weights and overall assessments. My medical background enables me to be cautious and knowledgeable in the early stages of your kitten's lives.  I have been a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse for 35 years, and have expertise in caring for "little things", disease processes, and all life saving measures.  It has always been my nature to nurture, raise, and heal if needed.

Our kittens are allowed to roam and explore as they please and are underfoot, and we love it!  Our 7 grandchildren love to visit Nana & Gpa, because they get to play with kittens!

On the day you pick up your Maine Coon kitten(s), he or she will have had their first FVRCP, Tested Negative for FeLV and FIV, de-wormed, and then, a detailed assessment is performed by our veterinarian. On adoption day, we will provide you with your kitten's Florida Health Certificate. and your contract which includes a spay/ neuter agreement. All of our Maine Coon kittens must be spayed or neutered before 10 months of age.   ~Sabrina Gearin, RN, BSN

As you look through these photos, you will see that we have a variety of colors in our breeding program.  However, some colors don't occur regularly. When you are placed on our list, you will be asked your color preference. You can choose more than one color, and the more flexible you are, the faster you get a Salty Coons Kitten!
